Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Lockstory (the "app") uses, why, and what choices you have. The app is made by Lockstory ("we", "us"). If you have a question, write to us at support@lockstory.app.

In short: the app does not ask you to create an account, does not show ads, does not use analytics or tracking tools, and does not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, location or other personal information.

1. What the app stores on your phone

To work, the app keeps a few things in its own private storage on your device:

• The wallpapers you downloaded, and small preview pictures for the gallery.
• Your settings and choices: favorites, the wallpaper you set, Auto change lists, the "Download on Wi-Fi only" option, and how often you open each wallpaper (used only to sort the "Most used" list on your phone).

This information stays on your device. We do not receive it. You can remove the downloaded files at any time in Settings, and uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include the app's settings in your device backup. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings, and we cannot see it.

2. What is sent over the internet

The app downloads the wallpaper list and the wallpaper files from our content server, which is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare R2). Like any website, the server receives the technical details needed to deliver a file: your IP address, the file requested, the time, and basic device and network information. Cloudflare may keep this in short-term server logs for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify you, and we do not combine them with any other information. The app checks whether your phone is on Wi-Fi or mobile data only to respect the "Download on Wi-Fi only" setting. This check happens on the device and nothing about it is sent anywhere.

3. Purchases

Lockstory Premium is a subscription sold through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google. We never see or store your card or payment details. To unlock Premium, the app receives from Google Play a purchase confirmation (such as a purchase token and the subscription status), which may be checked with Google to confirm it is valid. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Permissions

• Internet: to download wallpapers and the wallpaper list.
• Network state: to know whether you are on Wi-Fi, for the Wi-Fi only setting.
• Set wallpaper: to set the wallpaper you choose on your home and lock screens.

The app does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts, files or photos.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share personal information. The only outside services involved are Cloudflare (to deliver the wallpaper files) and Google Play (to install the app and handle purchases), as described above.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information or keep accounts, there is usually nothing on our side to access or delete. Everything the app keeps is on your phone and is removed when you uninstall it. If you think we hold information about you, or you want to use a right you have under the law where you live (such as the GDPR), contact us at support@lockstory.app and we will help.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change matters, we will also mention it in the app or on its Google Play page.
